How to Make Marbled Ornaments with Vitrail
Step 1: Fill a disposable pan or bowl with enough water to cover half of your ornament. Use an eyedropper to add a few drops of one of more Vitrail paints to the water.
Step 2: Before the paints form a film, use a toothpick to gently swirl the colours together. Do not mix them completely.
Step 3: Holding the ornament by its metal cap, dip it in the bowl and roll it over the surface of the water where the paint is floating. Hang the ornament to dry.
Tips:
- Wear gloves
- Work in a well-ventilated area
- Use paper towel to skim the excess paint off the surface before pouring the mixture down the drain
- Discard bowl after use
