This!!!

I grabbed this as it was on sale & I've started adding various types of pastels & gel sticks to my mixed media, including water solubles. It has this gorgeous effect that when sprayed, the colors blend out- like I used oil to blend the page but didn't. It's SO pretty! It almost gives a watercolor affect. Plus, it seals the media so the colors don't smudge or stain other pages. I will be re-purchasing this one for sure! (In the photo, I applied oil pastels with a pallet knife on to thin mixed media paper. I did not blend the colors. After spraying, it blended out & sealed beautifully).

Very good

I saw other websites and places selling this product at an expensive price but it is so affordable here and the spray was working perfectly fine. Even just one light spray makes it not smudging. Highly recommended.

Good Stuff

I bought this product by W&N as well as Universal Spray Fixative HC10 by Sennelier at the same time to test them both. They are both excellent fixatives for pencil artwork on paper. They both have a strong toxic smell; this one may have been a tad less deadly than the other one, but still, use outdoors and don't inhale.

After only a single light coat (3-4 seconds on a 9x12 inch drawing from about one foot from paper surface), this fixative sealed my drawing almost completely with only a bit of graphite rubbing off; but even then, it smudged way less than it did without any fixative. After a second light coat, the drawing was very well fixed.

I do recommend this product, but I feel the Universal Spray Fixative HC10 was a bit stronger with the same amount of spray.
