In this workshop, students will learn how to create a stylized watercolour painting of flowers.
Open to beginners and intermediates.
Ages 12 to 99.

Part 1: Material overview and ink sketch
In part one of this class, Gabrielle will discuss all the materials being used in the class. Gabrielle will then demonstrate the initial ink sketch of the flowers.
Part 2: Watercolour painting
In part two, Gabrielle will demonstrate how to create the painting using wet on wet and splatter painting techniques.
List of materials to bring:
✓ Watercolour paper (minimum size 8”x10”)
✓ Watercolour paint (Hooker’s green, purple, cadmium red, lemon yellow, cerulean blue, carmine)
✓ Watercolour brushes: a few larger round brushes (e.g. 8, 10, 12) and a mop brush
✓ Palette
✓ Paper towel
✓ Jar/container of water
✓ Waterproof ink pen
✓ Pencil
✓ Eraser
