Daniel Smith's Transparent Watercolour Ground

I've used the transparent ground on wood panels for some of my watercolour paintings. I like to let the wood show through as the background. This ground works very well for this effect. I usually give the wood panel at least two coats letting it dry for at least 24 hours inbetween applications.
