They'll tinker with the base, arm, clamp and tubes to make this little gadget come to life right in front of their eyes.

Discovery Bionic Hand

Great project to do with my 10 year old grandson. The parts needed a lot of pressure to snap together. The F8 ribbon pieces (tendons) were hard to fit on the hooks and popped so much that we had to super glue them on because the end holes were round instead of square as in the diagrams. the hydraulic tubes were extremely hard to put on the ports. Also the thumb gets stuck and has to be moved manually before the piston actuator works. It does all work though and my grandson had fun with it.
